Position: Automation Test Engineer – Azure & Python
Location: Remote
Experience: 5+ Years
Qualification: Bachelor’s in IT / Computer Science or related field
Project Overview
You’ll work within a client’s testing and governance framework—building robust automation frameworks, supporting regression testing, and driving testing excellence across data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and document test data, results & recommendations
Perform functional & non-functional testing across source & target DBs using Azure tools
Work with Azure Data Bricks, Notebooks, Data Factories
Execute smoke, integration, and regression testing
Collaborate cross-functionally to improve test automation
Create and manage test & training data
Contribute to quality improvements and issue resolutions
Mandatory Skills
5+ years in Software QA
Python scripting for automation
Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform
PL/SQL programming, ETL, data migration, BI reporting
Complex SQL query writing
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, CI/CD pipelines
Excellent communication skills
Nice-to-Have Skills
Azure Data Factory, Cosmos DB, Docker, Azure DevOps
ISTQB Certification
Experience in the finance domain
